Haken Audio Continuum Competition: Win a Slim Continuum with your own playing technique
Haken Audio is launching its first Continuum Competition,
with a Slim70, a Slim46, and a Slim21 Continuum up for grabs.
The idea: show off a unique playing technique you developed yourself and mastered on a non-Continuum instrument. The winners won’t be picked as “the better musicians” but as the players the judges think will be the best fit for learning the Continuum.
How to enter
- Post a YouTube video of your technique.
- Post a second video explaining how you developed and mastered it.
- Keep both to 1 minute or less, tag @HakenAudio, and add #ContinuumCompetition to the title.

Continuum players are not eligible; ContinuuMini players are welcome. The competition runs for three weeks, with weekly highlights on Haken’s YouTube channel. The winners are chosen by Gregoire Blanc, Rob Schwimmer, and Josh Madoff.

News from Haken Audio: Firmware Version 10.81
Firmware Version 10.81 is now available for all current Haken Audio devices, including the Continuum (2x, 6x, and 8x), ContinuuMini, EaganMatrix Module, and EaganMatrix Micro. This release combines a range of improvements previously available in beta versions with an expanded Preset library across all supported devices.

Amazona Interview: Gaël Loison, TouellSkouarn
On Amazona.de, there's a new feature with Gaël Loison from TouellSkouarn. The Brittany-based maker is something of an insider tip among musicians, with beautifully designed modules like the Skorn da Bask oscillator and the Sonveskan mixer, which offer rarely heard distortions and unusual feedback circuits. Following a wider trend, TouellSkouarn is now also expanding into desktop devices and even pedals.
